Eno prepared the piano with electronic treatments and handled the sound; Harold Budd improvised at the keys, listening to the processed result as he played and searching out the register and speed that made the treated instrument resonate most. From \"First Light\" onward, Budd's acoustic and electric piano melodies are refracted, almost prism-like, through Eno's processing, and the same method carries through the title track, \"Above Chiangmai\" and \"An Arc Of Doves\".
