Material at their earliest, recorded from 23 to 25 July 1979 at Eddy Offord's studio in Woodstock, New York. The record carries no credits, but the line-up is Bill Laswell on bass, Fred Maher on drums, Michael Beinhorn on keyboards and Cliff Cultreri on guitar, produced by Giorgio Gomelsky. Four tracks, including the seven-and-a-half-minute "White Man", already showing the method of taking funk rhythm apart and resetting it as repetition. Discogs spreads it across electro, avant-garde, experimental and disco. This is the twelve-inch issued by Cliché Música in Portugal in 1981, in an edition of 1,000 copies.
