Carlos Maria Trindade (Heróis do Mar, later Madredeus) and Nuno Canavarro (Street Kids, Delfins) both came out of 1980s Portuguese pop-rock. In the first half of 1990 they built Mr. Wollogallu in a home studio in Cascais; issued in 1991 on União Lisboa, it went largely unnoticed until critics began counting it among the essential Portuguese electronic records. Side A is credited to Trindade and side B to Canavarro, though each plays on the other's pieces. Marimba, koto, theremin, tabla, shakuhachi and sampled voices are placed like features on an imagined map: "West" is a lone piano, while the seven-minute "Blu Terra" moves on percussive synthesis. Urpa i musell's remastered reissue, limited to 750, in the original artwork with new obi and inserts.
