Macromassa formed in Barcelona in 1976 around Víctor Nubla and Juan Crek, and spent the following decades working at the edges of rock, jazz, noise and electronics. This album captures a concert at La Orquídea on 5 January 1978, released by EDA in 1980. The credits are a parade of aliases: Goomumbulaa on clarinet and wah, Juan Crek on audio generator, Pou Magraña on violin, Louis Fobat on drums. Clarinet, violin and generator tones meet a live drummer and guitar, and the second side gives over ten and thirteen minutes to "Un Conflicto Y Un Estraperlo" and "De Monios S.L.". An early document of Barcelona's post-Franco experimental underground.
