Chicago-based producer Area released this limited 12-inch in 2011 as the first release on his own label, Kimochi Sound. The three tracks, "Bed Vertigo," "So Many Fireflies," and "Cheap Warmth," create a soundscape that layers ambient mist over techno beats, making them excellent music for the late hours of the night. Kimochi continued to release limited hand-stamped pressings, gaining recognition among collectors, but this first release is particularly hard to find.
