This is a 1998 remix 12-inch, where Glasgow artists re-worked tracks from Larry Heard's "Dance 2000." Side A's "Teleportation" is extended by Slam into a deeply hypnotic house/techno track over nine minutes long, retaining the original's floating feel while enhancing its floor-oriented drive. On Side B, Muzique Tropique reinterprets "I Know That It's You" in a softer, deeper direction. It's an interesting release that connects Larry Heard's Chicago deep house with the 90s Soma scene in Glasgow. This remix album is not only great as a Larry Heard work, but also for showing the influence of Chicago on UK/European deep house.
