A cult classic released in 2001 on Grayhound Recordings by The Mirror Boys, a duo consisting of Thomas Bullock and Lee Sciandra. This leftfield dance track crosses the boundaries of boogie, electro, and deep house, featuring a slow-mo machine beat, a thick, bouncy bassline, and dub-processed synths and sound effects that create an eerie atmosphere. Thomas Bullock's signature psychedelic and loose sensibility, which would later be heard in Rub N Tug, is already fully present here. This is an excellent record from the West Coast underground that, rather than aiming for a peak, slowly twists the dance floor in a strange direction.
