Tetsuo Sakurai's debut solo album, "Dewdrops" (1986), marks a new chapter for the renowned Casiopea bassist. With sophisticated arrangements thanks to the collaboration of Yuji Toriyama, Akira Inoue, and others, the album truly shines. "Kimono," featuring traditional Japanese instruments, fully embodies an oriental Japanese flair, with vocals by Etsuko Yamakawa of the city pop unit "Tohoku Shinkansen." It's a masterpiece celebrated both domestically and internationally.
