Recorded in March 1985 at a studio in Paço D'Arcos. Robin Geoffrey Cable wrote and played the music, handled the analogue and digital programming and took the sleeve photograph, which makes Interface effectively his project. Natália Casanova sings, alongside a figure credited only as "The Edge", and Náná Sousa Dias takes the saxophone solo. "The Lake" on A4 is in three parts, built on an Indian traditional melody. Discogs files it across electro, synth-pop and darkwave.
