"Unities" is a seminal work by Portuguese jazz drummer and educator Zé Eduardo. Recorded in the mid-1980s, during his time based in Barcelona, it is an essential document of the development of jazz in Catalonia. Zé Eduardo was a central figure at Barcelona's prestigious jazz education institution, Taller de Músics, where he nurtured many young musicians and is known for laying the foundations for the current Catalan music scene.
