This is a 2019 reissue of Mad Professor's dub album, originally released on Ariwa in 1985. As expected from a representative figure of UK dub, the album features a heavy bass and drum foundation, with bold use of echo, reverb, and delay, blending electronic sound processing with a Caribbean sensibility. The experimental nature of the transition period to digital dub, as exemplified by "1011 Digital," and the立体的なサウンド (three-dimensional sound) unique to Ariwa Sound Studio can be enjoyed. This is an important early work by Mad Professor that updated the methodology of roots dub with 80s technology.
