Twilight Zone is her 5th album, released in 1977, co-produced with Tatsuro Yamashita. It features a stellar lineup of musicians including Haruomi Hosono, Shuichi "Ponta" Murakami, and Kenji Omura, with all lyrics and compositions penned by Minako Yoshida. This masterpiece, including her signature song "Shooting Star Of Love," clearly shows the influence of Laura Nyro, soul, jazz, and gospel. It is a monumental work of Japanese city pop.
