An album released on October 1, 1969, by Columbia, from the eccentric Moondog, who was known for standing on the streets of New York dressed in his self-made Viking costume. It was recorded in Columbia's main studio, with Moondog conducting 50 musicians. The album consists of pieces Moondog wrote during the 1950s and 60s as he transitioned from jazz conventions to classical composition, combining classical influences with elements criticized as minimalist music and third stream.
