This is the 2002 release of the famous song "See-Line Woman," recorded by Nina Simone in 1964, remixed by Masters At Work (Louie Vega & Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez). Centered around the original's powerful vocals and repetitive percussion, MAW expanded the track into a deep house groove with an Afro/Latin feel, characteristic of their style, resulting in a remix over 10 minutes long. The track masterfully reconstructs the original into club music without losing its primitive power.
