Elkin and Nelson were Colombian brothers who made their name in Spain and brought Latin American songs and rhythms into the Spanish pop of the time. This 1974 album for CBS, produced by Juan Pardo, leans on dance forms from across South America: "Samba Samba" opens it, and two "Carnavalito" pieces frame "Al Carnaval" on side B. In the middle of side A they take on The Doors' "Light My Fire". It has been called an essential record in the birth of Latin rock. A funkier companion to their psychedelic debut double album, here as an original Spanish pressing on CBS.
