This 12-inch, released in 2017 by Jazzy Sport, is from Dedication, a Japanese-British collaborative project featuring Felix Dickinson, an important figure in the UK underground, Tsuyoshi Kosuga of Cro-Magnon, Keita Y Mikey, and Botch. The title track, "It's A Dedication," is a superb modern boogie/disco house track with a thick, bouncy bassline, light guitar, and soulful vocals. The B-side, "Night People," is mellower and imbued with a nocturnal allure. This is a quintessential Jazzy Sport crossover record, where UK leftfield disco and the jazz/funk sensibilities of the Cro-Magnon scene naturally intersect. The inclusion of instrumental versions for both tracks makes it a welcome DJ-friendly release.
