A Hunt Up Wind 6:05
B Captain Caribe 4:28

Trombonist Hiroshi Fukumura spent much of the 1970s in Sadao Watanabe's band, and in 1978 the two made Hunt Up Wind together, with Don Grusin on keys, Cornell Dupree on guitar, Chuck Rainey on bass, Harvey Mason on drums and Paulinho Da Costa on percussion. Two years later the UK label Champagne lifted the title track and "Captain Caribe" for this 45rpm twelve. Six minutes of the title track on the A side, four and a half of "Captain Caribe" on the B. A Japanese session finding a second home in the UK clubs, sought by collectors on both sides.
