Released by José Mário Branco on UPAV in 1990. All nine songs take the form of letters — to the poet Daniel Filipe, to José Afonso, to Hannah Arendt, to Chico Buarque, to Anton Chekhov, and to his own grandchildren. The lyrics are enclosed inside the gatefold as nine letters in an envelope. Recorded between January and July 1989; the songs run three to six minutes, with "Zeca" on A4 addressed to José Afonso. A reckoning written fifteen years after the revolution by one of the figures — alongside Afonso and Sérgio Godinho — who carried the Portuguese protest song.
