Milkways was a studio project arranged by Régis Dupré, mixed by Claude Sahakian and produced by Didier Guinochet. The album appeared on Barclay in France, and Movieplay issued it in Spain in 1978 under the title Galactic Reaction. The track titles map out the theme: "Interstellar Melody", "Unknown Flight", "Astroport", and a two-part "Love For N.R." that runs past seven minutes to close side B. It belongs squarely to the late-'70s space-disco moment, and the Spanish edition, with its own title, sits alongside the French Barclay issue for those who collect the genre in depth.
