The second album by the Philadelphia guitarist Monnette Sudler, recorded for SteepleChase in 1978; this is the 1980 Spanish pressing. Her work with Khan Jamal in Sounds of Liberation carries directly over — Jamal is here on marimba, with Tyrone Brown on bass and congas. On the nine-minute "Congo", marimba and congas come forward and Sudler answers in short, clearly drawn phrases. "Natural Accurrance" was written in response to the 1978 confrontation between the Philadelphia police and MOVE. A scarce record by a player who led few sessions.
