American composer and trombonist Peter Zummo discovered a recording of unreleased songs from 1984 within his archives. Released as the new LP "FRAME LOOP," this work features Zummo's longtime friends Arthur Russell on amplified cello, Bill Ruyle on marimba, and Mustafa Ahmed on congas, recorded live in single takes. Zummo describes this recording as "an exercise in spontaneous preparation." Arthur Russell showcases his signature amplified cello sound with both solo and rhythmic performances.
