This is an original 1977 Spanish pressing of "El Olivo = Olive Tree," a unique masterpiece by Barcelona-based musician/producer Ramón Farrán, co-created with his father-in-law, poet and writer Robert Graves. Inspired by Mediterranean life in Mallorca, it features relaxing, smooth, and sometimes danceable jazz-rock/synth-pop. From tracks with an early Balearic feel to synth tunes where his wife Lucia Graves' transparent vocals shine, the entire album is flawlessly complete. This is an extremely valuable discovery, an essential piece when discussing Spanish rare groove/obscure music.
