An album by the Portuguese wind player Rão Kyao, issued on Vertigo in 1985 and recorded at Estúdios Namouche between September and October of that year, with a string group of cello, viola and double bass throughout. As the titles suggest — "Caminho De Yaman", "Raghunath", "Bagdad" — the flute lines move from India towards the Middle East, then return to Portugal with "Voz De Tejo" and the name of the Tagus. His method of joining Portuguese music to Eastern melody through the flute arrives here in fully worked form, with the string writing to carry it.
