A numbered reissue from EM Records, the pride of Japan. The masterpiece first album released in 1980, which is described as "Afro Steve Reich". A deep and spiritual meditation work that could only have been born in America.

Roland P. Young worked as a DJ and producer at underground FM in San Francisco and Berkeley in the 1960s and 1970s. The Black Panthers also supported it in its early years (but stopped supporting them in later years, dissenting their armed struggle). In the early 70's he was the leader of the spiritual jazz band Infinite Sound. However, his behavior on the radio became a problem and he was dismissed from the FM station. With that in mind, he devoted himself to music activities, and in 1980, after a production period of more than two years, he released his first solo album "Isophonic Boogie Woogie". In his words, this work is a synthesis of electronic/acoustic, ambience, journey with jazz, chamber music, minimalism, world music, and their encounters in the 25 years since he woke up as a musician. is exactly one that resonates.
