Recorded by Steve Kuhn at Generation Sound Studios in New York on 11 and 12 November 1974, with Jack DeJohnette on drums, Steve Swallow on electric bass and Sue Evans on percussion. Manfred Eicher produced and Jan Erik Kongshaug mixed: an ECM production, licensed and issued in Japan by Trio Records, and this is that domestic pressing under its PAP number. Kuhn moves between acoustic and electric piano, with the near-eight-minute "Something Everywhere" the longest piece. Placed among the American recordings of ECM's early years.
