This is the 4th US original pressing of Talking Heads' 1980 album (Sire SRK 6095, Winchester pressing). Brian Eno and the band reinterpreted Fela Kuti's Afrobeat from a New York perspective, creating tracks like "Born Under Punches," "Crosseyed And Painless," and "Once In A Lifetime," which feature David Byrne's lyrics over polyrhythms and funk. This album remains a constantly referenced record, an early example of rock music seriously venturing into dance music. The price has been reduced due to hairline scratches on the disc and overall signs of use.
