This is the second volume of a deluxe remix collection featuring pioneer Belgian electronic music group Telex, re-imagined by the forefront of music from Detroit techno to electro and house. Among them, Juan Atkins' "Brainwash" is a masterpiece where Telex's cold synth-pop and Detroit's futurism connect astonishingly naturally. Ian Pooley, DJD, 20:20 Vision, Morgan Geist, and Eddie Flashin' Fowlkes also participate, each extracting the mechanical funkiness inherent in the originals from different angles. This is an excellent project that allows listeners to experience how European electronic music from the late 70s was continuously linked to the techno/electro generation 20 years later. A flawless 2-disc set in terms of both track selection and remixer lineup.
