The Dynamics is a four-piece soul vocal group based in Detroit that has been active since the 1960s. This work, "What A Shame," is a miraculous masterpiece released in 1978 by BLACK GOLD, a subsidiary of DE-LITE. This is the follow-up to their debut album "First Landing" in 1969, and has long been loved by soul fans as a masterpiece of sweet soul from the 1970s. This is a timeless album that stands out for the group's mature harmony and emotional singing.

The Dynamics' second album, "What A Shame," is a sweet and bittersweet masterpiece of sweet soul. The album includes highly polished songs ranging from slow to up-tempo, including the melting ballad of the title song, "What A Shame," the light northern dancer "You'll Never Find A Man Like Me," and the funky "Funky Key."
