This cult classic was released in 2001 on Grayhound Recordings by The Mirror Boys, a duo consisting of Thomas Bullock and Lee Sciandra. It features slow machine beats, thick, bouncy basslines, and dub-processed synths and sound effects that create an eerie, drifting atmosphere. This leftfield dance track transcends the boundaries of boogie, electro, and deep house. The psychedelic and loose vibe characteristic of Thomas Bullock, which would later be heard in Rub N Tug, is already in full display here. This excellent record from the West Coast underground doesn't aim for peaks but subtly twists the dance floor in strange directions.
