The Portuguese band Trovante on EMI in 1983. A five-piece — Luís Represas, João Gil, Fernando Júdice, Artur Costa and Manuel Faria — working from accordion, alto saxophone and acoustic guitar, with choral singing on some tracks. "Ibérica" and "Mulata" are instrumentals. Portuguese folk music rewritten in the language of jazz and rock, which is why Discogs spreads it across jazz, rock, pop and folk. Mid-period work from a band that ran from the late seventies into the nineties.
