The West German pressing of the 1983 album by William Ackerman, who founded Windham Hill. He wrote everything, played the guitar, produced, and designed the sleeve and notes himself. The label's characteristic recording holds the overtones of the acoustic guitar a long time, and the record turns on pieces that make their time from sustain rather than melody — the six-minute "Visiting" at the opening, "Rain To River" on B4.
