Alfa

Alfa Records is a Japanese record label founded in the 1970s that released a wide range of music genres, including city pop, jazz, rock, and electronica. It was home to such artists as Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO), consisting of Ryuichi Sakamoto, Haruomi Hosono, and Yukihiro Takahashi, as well as Minako Yoshida, and had a major impact both in Japan and overseas. YMO in particular is globally recognized as a pioneer of technopop.
